Within 72 hours or 300 kilometres from the time of purchase, whichever comes first, the purchaser or retail lessee may exchange an eligible Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle for a full refund of the purchase price or lease deposit for any reason - if not completely satisfied with the purchase. Customer may also elect to use the undernoted Exchange Privilege.
Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicles 30-Day or 2,500 Km Exchange Privilege
Within 30 days or 2,500 kilometres from the date of purchase, whichever comes first, the purchaser or retail lessee may exchange an eligible Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle for another Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle of equal or lesser value with the selling Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle Dealership for any reason - if not completely satisfied with the purchase. If the purchase price of the vehicle being traded for is less than the purchase price of the vehicle being returned, the purchaser will pay the difference.

Ulmer Chev CERTIFIED PROGRAM DETAILS

Eligibility
Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicles, unless otherwise indicated on the vehicle Bill of Sale, are eligible for the Return Privilege if returned within 72 hours or 300 km (whichever occurs first) of delivery.

Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicles, unless otherwise indicated on the vehicle Bill of Sale, are eligible for the Exchange Privilege if exchanged with the selling Dealer/Retailer within 30 calendar days or 2,500 kilometers (whichever occurs first) of delivery.

The vehicle must be owned or leased by the retail purchaser/lessee of the Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle. The vehicle must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered to the customer, without damage or excessive wear and tear. Refer to Vehicle Inspection section below.

Exclusions
  • Vehicle is a fleet purchase or fleet lease.
  • Vehicle is to be used for livery, taxi, or delivery services.
  • Customers who have previously returned a vehicle under Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle Return Privilege within the past 12 months.
  • Customers who have previously exchanged a vehicle under Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle One Time 30 Day or 2,500 Km Exchange Privilege within the past 12 months.
  • Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicles that have had accessories installed (eg. radio or alarm system) unless installation was performed or sublet by the selling Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle Dealer.
Return and Exchange Provisions
Vehicles must be exchanged with or returned to the selling Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle Dealer and be accompanied by all used vehicle purchase or lease transaction documents, including the sales contract/lease agreement, license, and registration.

The customer must pay any interest and principal balance and other amounts due in order to provide a free and clear title to the Dealer.

Lease cancellation charges assessed by the lease institution will be refunded. If, however, the customer leases the exchanged for vehicle, many lease companies, including GMAC, will either execute a substitution of collateral or will cancel the original lease and put the customer in a new lease without cancellation charges.

If the customer independently purchases a service plan, the customer is responsible for obtaining any refund.

If a vehicle is modified by the customer so that it is ineligible to be certified as an Ulmer Chev Used Vehicle, the vehicle is not eligible to be exchanged under this agreement. Vehicle insurance and credit life insurance and disability insurance are separate transactions from the vehicle purchase or lease transaction and any related expenses are the sole resonsibility of the customer.

Vehicle Inspection
Any vehicle returned under this process will be inspected by the Ulmer Chev Certified Used Vehicle Dealer for damage and excessive wear and tear. If non-warranty repairs equal to or greater than $300.00 have been preformed or are necessary, the vehicle is not eligible to be returned. If less than $300.00, the damage repair estimate will be deducted from the credit amount applied to the return or to the exchange vehicle.
Valuation of Exchange Vehicle
The "Agreed Upon Exchange Value" (purchase price from vehicle bill of sale) will be used in determining the exchange value to be applied to another vehicle.
